1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Nell service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of Nell after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Description of Service
Nell is a personal AI assistant that connects via text message to your phone and integrates with Google Calendar and Gmail to help you manage your daily tasks, appointments, and communications. Nell operates through an AI-powered agent that processes your messages and takes actions on your behalf based on your instructions.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account. Nell accounts are for individual use unless you subscribe to a Family plan.
4. Payment and Billing
Nell offers a 14-day free trial for all new accounts. After the trial period, you will be billed according to your selected plan (monthly or annual). All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed in US dollars and may be subject to applicable taxes. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Nell only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use Nell to send spam, harass others, or engage in any activity that violates applicable laws. You are responsible for the content of all messages sent through Nell on your behalf. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
Nell is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate and reliable service, Nell is an AI assistant and may occasionally make errors. We are not liable for any actions taken by Nell on your behalf, including but not limited to emails sent, calendar events created, or messages delivered. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming important actions. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.
7. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. We may also terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Nell service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Nell after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
